The GMUG Seeks Input on Taylor Park Vegetation Management Project
The Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre, and Gunnison National Forests Ranger District is seeking public review and comment on the Taylor Park Vegetation Management Project. The primary aim of the project is to increase the forest’s resilience in the face of stressors like climate variation, drought, insect attack, or disease.
The GMUG has partnered with Western Colorado University’s Center for Public Lands to develop a team of citizens to serve as an Adaptive Management Group to support the development and implementation of the project. Click here to learn more.
