At Ridgway Reservoir, the water level is as good as it will get — and it is not very good.
“The water is probably about as high as it’s going to get in the year. Unfortunately, this is usually the level we see in late July,” Colorado Parks and Wildlife spokesman Joe Lewandowski said Friday.
The reservoir is the centerpiece of Ridgway State Park, drawing campers, hikers, swimmers and anglers by the thousands each year.
